Great American Teach-In

Belcher Elementary School will have our Great American Teach-In on Wednesday, November 12th!

This one-day event is an opportunity for members of the community to be invited into our school to share information with students about their career or hobby, to organize an activity, to read a story or to teach a class. Past presenters have taught a skill, brought props for students to interact with, led a group activity, or used countless other creative ideas to engage and educate students. For alumni of Pinellas County Schools, this annual event is an excellent opportunity to return to old classrooms. For our current students, it's a great way to learn about various careers and get a spark for a life-long passion. Available slots start at 9 AM and go until 2 PM. The amount of time you volunteer is determined strictly by what your schedule permits and what the teacher wants to accomplish, so you could stay just for a short presentation or for the entire day.

If you are interested in presenting, please fill out this short form by Friday, October 31st, 2025: https://forms.office.com/r/WH8a2m45nL

If you're a Level II volunteer and would like to volunteer for Great American Teach-In, please contact
our Family & Community Liaison Jennifer Lamont at lamontj@pcsb.org or at (727) 538-7437 ext. 2001.
